Company Profile

• We are partnering with a confidential global infrastructure provider expanding its footprint in Japan. The company is a leader in delivering scalable and sustainable digital infrastructure for top-tier global clients. Due to ongoing growth and increased operations in Japan, we are seeking a hands-on, bilingual Accountant to join the finance team.

The Role

• Manage and execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and support accurate financial reporting
• Handle accounts payable and receivable transactions and ensure timely processing
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other third-party vendors
• Ensure compliance with local GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
• Work closely with regional and global finance teams to align reporting standards
• Support internal audits and process improvement initiatives

Your Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 3-5 years of accounting experience (ideally in a multinational company)
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English required
• Strong experience with monthly closing and hands-on accounting tasks
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar
• Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic macros a plus)
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
