As an Administrative Assistant 2, you will be responsible for overseeing the building, equipment, and office supplies. This includes coordinating the activities involving repairs and deliveries, resolving discrepancies and problems, inspecting and approving repairs and deliveries of supplies, and making recommendations for improvement. You will be tasked to ensure the safety and security of the building and staff with closing and opening procedures and act as the designated contact person for general emergencies when assigned or in the absence of the Regional Office Administrator. This position serves as a liaison with other County Departments to have expansive activities completed, such as revising floor plans and coordinating all telephone and computer activities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate as a member of the Regional Office administrative support team in the development and implementation of the Regional Office's clerical and agency's goals, objectives, and policies. Duties of your supervisory role include overseeing, distributing, and reviewing work assignments, establishing priorities, and processing time and attendance requests from staff.
