Position Overview

The Admissions Coordinator is a full-time position that plays a vital role in the student enrollment process, serving as the first point of contact for prospective students and guiding them through the entire admissions journey. This position requires an organized professional who can efficiently manage the administrative aspects of student enrollment while providing exceptional customer service in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and process student intake forms and applications with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Manage the student onboarding process, ensuring all required documentation is collected and verified
  • Add new users to the Learning Management System (Brightspace LMS) and enroll them in appropriate courses
  • Maintain regular communication with applicants and enrolled students, providing clear guidance throughout the admissions process
  • Keep students informed at every step of their enrollment journey, addressing questions and concerns promptly
  • Coordinate daily with the Operations Manager regarding ministry reporting requirements and compliance matters
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping for all student information in relevant systems
  • Facilitate a smooth transition of enrolled students to the Student Success Coordinator
  • Monitor application statuses and follow up on incomplete applications
  • Generate and distribute admissions reports as required
  • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the admissions process

Requirements

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in admissions, student services, or customer service in an educational setting preferred
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with technology and software applications
  • Experience with Zoho CRM, Brightspace LMS, and various email service providers preferred
  • Ability to learn new software platforms quickly
  • Customer service orientation with a focus on creating positive experiences for prospective students
