The company is adept at "kitting" parts for efficient inventory management and installation, offering engineering support to customize solutions for clients.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Aerospace Engineer role located in Fort Wayne, IN at IASA Group, LLC. The Aerospace Engineer will be responsible for tasks related to aerodynamics, aerospace engineering, systems engineering, and designing aircraft and spacecraft.

Qualifications

  • Aerodynamics and Aerospace Engineering skills
  • Proven experience in business development, sales engineering, or key OEM account management 
  • Systems Engineering proficiency
  • Experience in Aircraft and component design
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field

Responsibilities

  • This individual will be responsible for supporting the development of current/new business.
  • Reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications required for manufacture
  • Understanding, bidding, and reading government contracts/opportunities
  • Understanding the business's ERP system and be effective in executing tasks within the system.
  • Supporting customers related to their design needs
  • Identifying areas to further support customers' needs
  • Identifying opportunities released into the market and making actionable recommendations to drive business
  • Developing and connecting with new and existing contacts to facilitate growth
  • Establishes professional and responsive relationships with customers to ensure total customer satisfaction and continued business
  • Follows up with customers to ensure the company is meeting or exceeding the service level
  • Is a responsible and cooperative team leader with other departments to address and resolve customer problems
  • Understands and works within the company's policies and procedures
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the industry
  • Other duties as required in support of the company and/or sales division
