  • Est un cabinet d’avocats international de renom à service complet.

Responsabilités

  • Identifier et ouvrir les dossiers des clients conformément aux exigences applicables, en assurant le respect de toutes les directives réglementaires.
  • Identifier les conflits d’intérêts pour soutenir le processus d’ouverture de dossier et faciliter le recrutement latéral d’avocats.
  • Générer divers rapports sur les dossiers des clients et du cabinet, incluant ceux relatifs aux départs d'avocats.
  • Rédiger et maintenir à jour la documentation procédurale pour faciliter la gestion efficace des obligations légales et réglementaires du cabinet.
  • Offrir une formation continue et élaborer des documents de référence pour les membres du cabinet afin de renforcer la sensibilisation à la conformité.
  • Contribuer à divers projets de conformité à travers le pays, en participant activement aux initiatives visant à maintenir la conformité réglementaire et les normes éthiques.

Exigences

  • Diplôme universitaire en administration, en sciences sociales, en droit ou dans un domaine pertinent.
  • Minimum de deux (2) années d'expérience dans un poste similaire au sein d'un cabinet de services professionnels. Une expérience préalable dans la recherche de conflits est un atout.
  • La maîtrise de l'anglais et du français, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit, est essentielle. Le candidat doit être capable de répondre aux demandes des autres bureaux canadiens et de préparer des notifications dans les deux langues.
  • À l'aise avec divers outils technologiques, notamment Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel et Word).
  • Excellentes compétences organisationnelles, avec la capacité de gérer efficacement les priorités dans un environnement de travail en évolution rapide.
  • Démontre des niveaux élevés de professionnalisme, de rigueur, de discrétion et d’autonomie, avec un engagement envers l’apprentissage et le développement continus.
  • Solides compétences interpersonnelles et aime collaborer avec des collègues.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and open client files in accordance with applicable requirements, ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
  • Screen for conflicts of interest to support the file opening process and facilitate lateral lawyer recruitment.
  • Generate various reports on clients and firm files, including those pertaining to lawyer departures.
  • Draft and maintain procedural documentation to facilitate the effective management of the firm's legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Provide ongoing training and develop reference materials for firm members to enhance compliance awareness.
  • Contribute to various compliance projects across the country, actively participating in initiatives aimed at maintaining regulatory compliance and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • University degree in administration, social sciences, law, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar position within a professional services firm. Prior experience in conflict-seeking is an asset.
  • Proficiency in both English and French, both orally and in writing, is essential. The candidate must be capable of responding to requests from all offices in Canada and preparing notifications in both languages.
  • Comfortable using various technology tools, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Demonstrates high levels of professionalism, rigor, discretion, and autonomy, with a commitment to continuous learning and development.
