Company Profile

• A well-established FMCG with over 50 years history is looking for APAC FP&A Manager based in Tokyo.

The Role

• Develop and manage separate annual full P&L budgets and forecasts-including revenue and cost projections-for the Japan and Korea markets, consolidated into the broader APAC financials.
• Collaborate closely with Commercial and Business Leads in Japan and Korea to achieve annual financial targets, providing analytical insights to support strategic decisions, business expansion, and new opportunities.
• Lead financial validation processes for revenues and costs; identify key risks and opportunities, perform variance analysis between actuals and forecasts, uncover underlying drivers, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee the Order-to-Cash process for Japan and Korea related to direct costs (e.g., marketing and retail activations), including purchase order tracking and invoice management.

Your Skills

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) role
• Strong background in the retail and FMCG industries is highly preferred
• Fluent in both English and Japanese, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities, with the capability to collaborate effectively across functions and cultures
