We are looking for an ambitious, initiative-taking individual with a background in sales or previous industry experience, to join our team as an A&D Representative!

In this role, you will cultivate and nurture connections while driving product specifications within the Vancouver & Victoria design and architecture community. Your primary responsibility will be to promote Buckwold products and services, build strong relationships, and contribute to the growth and success of our business. This will be accomplished by organizing and hosting meetings with interior designers and architects, attending industry events and highlighting Buckwold Western samples and products. Your performance will be measured by the growth in BC sales resulting from the increased selection and specification of Buckwold Western Ltd products.

 

The position requires :

· Build a comprehensive understanding of our product lines, staying up to date with the latest tones, colors, and design trends.

· Effectively communicate these aspects to designers, emphasizing how they can elevate the design and functionality of their projects. Cultivate and uphold strong relationships with architects, interior designers, and design firms.

· Serve as a dependable advisor, highlighting a profound knowledge of our products and service offerings to align with their project requirements.

· Host product and sample meetings with designers when visiting their offices.

· Actively recognize and pursue new sales opportunities within the architecture and design sector

· Attend industry events and tradeshows based on our planned scheduling

  • Present, educate and captivate designers’ interest in using Buckwold Western products
  • Grow client base in new and emerging markets outside of the lower mainland.

Ideal Requirements and Qualifications : We expect candidates to:

  • 2-3 years of sales experience. Industry experience and/or A&D sales experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of architectural and interior design concepts and trends
  • Superior customer service, excellent time management and organization skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Design, Business, or Commerce (not required)
  • Valid British Columbia driver's license and accessibility to a vehicle
  • Must have a valid passport in good standing.

 

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay: $65,000 to $100,000 per year plus commission, based off experience and qualifications
