Job Description

We are currently seeking a full-time permanent Associate, Client Relations to join our Client Relations team.

As an Associate, Client Relations, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service and support to Investment Advisors, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a seamless experience. By managing inquiries, facilitating transactions, and maintaining data integrity, you will help strengthen RPIA’s client relationships and uphold service excellence. Reporting directly to the Head of Client Relations, your role will be essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, enhancing advisor interactions, and contributing to a well-managed and responsive support function.

The duties and responsibilities of the Associate, Client Relations include but are not limited to:

  • Product Knowledge: Maintains a comprehensive understanding of all RPIA product offerings to provide accurate and timely responses to client inquiries.
  • Advisor Support : Responds efficiently to Investment Advisor queries, ensuring clarity and consistency in communication.
  • Transaction Management: Assists with subscription and redemption requests, including handling exceptions and processing trade corrections.
  • Client Onboarding: Guides clients through the onboarding process, ensuring all documentation is complete and proactively following up on any missing information to maintain compliance.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborates with fund administrators and internal teams to resolve advisor queries and exception requests.
  • CRM Data Management & Reporting:
  • Ensures CRM data accuracy by managing client profiles, updating records, and ensuring data integrity across advisor teams.
  • Generates reports and territory analyses to support advisor engagement, prospecting, and business development efforts.
  • Additional Support: Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in client support in the financial services, investment, or related industry, ideally with knowledge of advisor practice management.
  • Proven experience working with a CRM system, with experience in data management and reporting.
  • Completion or progress toward industry-related courses such as CSC, CIM, CAIA, or CFA is preferred.
  • Proficiency in French is considered an asset.
