THE JOB:

As a Barista for our Starbucks at Mandalay Place, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional beverages and delivering outstanding guest service in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You'll play a key role in making sure guests feel welcome and enjoy their Starbucks experience, all while working with a dynamic and supportive team. If you have experience in a high-energy coffee shop and a passion for customer service, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

THE STARTING RATE: $14.78 plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks, espresso, cold beverages, and blended drinks to meet both Starbucks and MGM service standards.
  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking and placing orders, and managing guest transactions with proper cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front and back of the house, restocking products, clearing tables, and ensuring the dining area is tidy.
  • Stock and replenish inventory, including receiving and organizing deliveries, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and stored.
  • Follow safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures to ensure all products meet health and safety standards.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, as assigned.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • At least 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • 1 year or more of previous experience in a fast-paced coffee shop environment.
  • Familiar with espresso machines, cold bar preparation, and specialty drink crafting.
  • Familiarity with mobile order systems.
