Position Overview:

We’re hiring Event Crew – Servers & Setup Team members for our busy BBQ catering season. This is a hands-on role that includes loading gear, setting up events, and serving food to crowds ranging from 30 to 300+ people. Perfect for students looking for a summer job or anyone wanting flexible part-time hours.

Seasonal Details:

• Position runs: June 2025 – October 2025
• Peak season: June through August
• Student-friendly: We’re flexible if you're only available for the summer (until school starts)
• Hours range from 10 to 40 hours per week , depending on availability and event schedule

What You’ll Do:

• Load and pack trucks with BBQ gear, equipment, and food
• Set up event stations including tents, tables, and buffets
• Serve food and engage with guests during events
• Keep the workspace clean and organized
• Assist with takedown and packing after events
• Follow food safety practices
• Represent Big Flames BBQ with professionalism and energy

What We’re Looking For:

• Reliable part-time availability (weekdays and weekends)
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather
• G2 or G driver’s licence is an asset, not required
• Experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory
• Great attitude, team mindset, and punctuality are essential
