Oversee and ensure the security of various areas within the corporate headquarters, maintaining a safe and secure environment. Manage access to the building, ensuring efficient flow and adherence to security protocols. Inspect and monitor areas for security compliance, including entry points and common areas. Conduct regular patrols around the building and adjacent areas to ensure perimeter security and identify potential risks. Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV, access control, and communication devices. Coordinate with employees, visitors, and external personnel, ensuring adherence to building security protocols. Issue and manage access permissions and credentials for temporary visitors or contractors. Respond promptly to emergencies or security incidents, acting as the first point of contact. Coordinate with internal security teams and external emergency services as necessary. Implement and maintain readiness for emergency procedures tailored to the building’s specific needs. Maintain logs and records related to security activities and incidents. Participate in regular security briefings and training sessions. Conduct routine safety, security, and systems audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement. Complete all required recurring training, drills, and online learning management training courses to stay updated with the latest security practices and protocols. Competencies include high-level customer service, professional demeanor, strong understanding of access control and surveillance systems, sound decision-making in crisis and non-crisis situations, excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and flexibility to adapt to changing security needs. Responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, managing building access control systems, patrolling and inspecting the building, acting promptly in emergencies, serving as a liaison during incidents, and conducting risk assessments and emergency response procedures. Qualifications include at least 3 years of security officer experience, familiarity with physical and information security, strong customer service track record, flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays, passing a background check, and commitment to ongoing professional development.
