Job Description

Tourmaline Oil Corp. is a Canadian senior crude oil and natural gas exploration and production company. We are focused on long-term growth through an aggressive exploration, development, production, and acquisition program in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst with experience in Oil and Gas, preferably in E&P companies supporting Production Operations. Solid business analysis skills, along with an extensive technical background, are required to support our systems and business stakeholders.

This role is for a 6-months contract.

The responsibilities for this position include:

• Support, coordinate and manage ongoing upgrades, maintenance and issue resolution
• Liaise with business stakeholders to understand/document their processes and business needs
• Lead/support systems implementation, including requirements gathering, process mapping and test coordination
• Manage testing cycles for system upgrades, including working with the business users and vendors to ensure upgrades/changes are successful and have minimum impact on users
• Develop effective relationships with system vendors
• Perform incident and change management processes to ensure adequate control of systems and information

Description of Candidate:

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in O&G, preferably in E&P
• Experience with administration and support of Production Operations systems, preferably with Peloton ProdView
• Effective communication skills to establish and maintain relationship with business stakeholders and external partners
• Strong knowledge on Asset Data Management
• Strong core Business Analysis skills
• Can work in a very dynamic environment and adapt to rapid changes
• Able to handle competing requests and prioritize work accordingly
• Self-starter that takes initiative when it comes to completing all necessary tasks
• Able to work in a team environment as well as independently
