Key Responsibilities

As a CAD Jewellery Designer, you will:

• Create detailed 3D jewellery designs using advanced CAD software.

• Collaborate with clients and sales associates to understand design requirements and translate them into precise concepts.

• Develop production-ready models, ensuring all designs meet technical and aesthetic standards.

• Work with our marketing team to create visually compelling assets for marketing campaigns and promotional materials.

• Ensure designs are structurally sound and manufacturable, leveraging knowledge of materials and stone settings.

• Revise designs based on feedback from clients, sales associates, and production teams.

• Maintain a digital library of designs and contribute to the innovation of new jewellery collections.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance design capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in CAD software such as Rhino 7 , MatrixGold , or ZBrush .

• Experience with rendering tools like KeyShot or VRay for high-quality visual presentations.

• Strong knowledge of jewellery manufacturing techniques, stone settings, and material properties.

• Ability to produce production-ready CAD files for 3D printing or prototyping.

• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all designs.

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.

• A degree or diploma in Jewellery Design, Industrial Design, or related fields is preferred.

Portfolio Requirements

Applicants must submit the following with their application:

• Portfolio: A collection of original 3D CAD jewellery designs, including renders and production files.

• Technical Samples: Examples of designs showcasing stone settings, metalwork, and manufacturable elements.

• Design Process Overview: A brief description of how you approach your design process, from concept to completion.

• References: At least two professional references related to your design or jewellery work.
