The Perfect Candidate: 

• Certified as a Dental Assistant (CDA), licensed in BC.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using dental software and office management tools.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Applicants should be patient-focused, and contribute to their positive experience.

Responsibilities Include: 

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and organize treatment rooms for patient procedures and appointments.
• Manage sterilization of instruments and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and proper post-treatment care.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and ensure proper processing and storage.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charts in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Order and manage dental supplies and equipment as necessary.
