Civil/Commercial Litigation Lawyer (5 Years+ Experience)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil/Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset, with a commitment to providing exceptional legal services to our clients.

• Drafting Originating Applications, affidavits, exhibits, argument plans, mediation and settlement proposals.
• Conducting legal research and preparing memorandums.
• Drafting and reviewing contracts, court documents (factums, pleadings, motions).
• Scheduling and coordinating with the Court and opposing counsel.
• Attending cross-examinations, examinations for discovery, and preparing for trial.
• Managing litigation files independently, with firm support for training and guidance.

• 5+ years of experience in Civil/Commercial Litigation.
• Strong research and drafting skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage litigation files with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills; able to meet tight deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building strong client relationships.
• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
• Experience conducting litigation trials and motions is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, but also collaboratively with the legal team.

Contract & Flexibility:

We are open to candidates seeking contract or part-time flexibility. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with attorneys, preparing for cases, developing legal arguments, and drafting various legal documents.
