Job Description

One of Stellar's enterprise resource clients is seeking a highly experienced Collaboration and Communication Consultant to lead and support the operation, stabilization, and modernization of their enterprise communication and collaboration platforms. In this hands-on and strategic contract role, you’ll help ensure business continuity across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and voice/telephony systems. Your deep technical knowledge, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration will play a critical role in platform reliability, user experience, and long-term digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams (chat, meetings, voice), and SharePoint Online across hybrid environments
• Manage hybrid Exchange configurations, PowerShell scripting, licensing, and identity integrations with Azure Active Directory
• Provide expert-level support for SharePoint Online, including site management, permissions, governance, retention policies, and content migration
• Oversee voice infrastructure including Cisco Unified Communications Manager (UCM), Unity Connection, gateways, and Teams Phone/Direct Routing
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and MSPs to resolve complex issues, document system configurations, and contribute to platform roadmaps
• Ensure platform compliance with organizational security, retention, and regulatory requirements, especially in hybrid and federated environments

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a focus on enterprise collaboration and communication platforms
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, hybrid Exchange/AD, PowerShell automation, and Cisco UCM voice systems
• Deep understanding of Teams Phone, Direct Routing, SIP trunking, and meeting room integrations
• Proven experience with compliance policies, data retention, and identity security across cloud and hybrid environments
• Excellent documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills for multi-system environments
• Strong ability to work both independently and within cross-functional technical and business teams

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in Spanish.
• ITIL v4 certification or experience with formal service management frameworks
• Background supporting IT in mining, industrial, or highly regulated environments
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for M365, Compliance Center, and eDiscovery tools
• Experience with MSP transitions, service onboarding, or post-transition stabilization projects

Pay Rate: $75-100/hour
