CFS has partnered up with a large manufacturing company that is a leading player in the manufacturing industry, dedicated to providing high-quality products to our customers. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and experienced Controller to join our finance team. Responsibilities of the Controller:

  • Act as a key financial advisor to senior management, providing strategic insights, analysis, and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
  • Oversee the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive cost savings and optimize profitability.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the monthly and annual financial close process, including the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, providing financial expertise and guidance.
  • Supervise a team of finance professionals, providing leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities.

Requirements of the Controller:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
  • years of experience in a controller or similar financial management role within a manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Proficient in financial software systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
