We are currently recruiting for an Senior Corporate Law Clerk. Applicants must have a Law Clerk Diploma or Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario Certificate with at least five (5) years' experience working in a law firm. The successful candidate must have a full range of corporate law experience.
Skills and Knowledge:
• Strong knowledge and experience preparing articles of incorporation, amendments, amalgamations, dissolutions and revivals, minute book maintenance including extra-provincial registrations, the preparation of annual resolutions for incorporation/organization (including share provisions), registration of business names and due diligence corporate searches;
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work within a team and independently;
• Proficiency in MS Word and Outlook. Knowledge of Corplink software and iManage would be an asset.
