Position Overview As a corporate project manager you are responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring complex Non-IT projects within Corporate A&M, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting all quality standards while managing stakeholder expectations and aligning with overall business objectives; key duties include defining project scope, assembling teams, assigning tasks, tracking progress, mitigating risks, managing budgets, and communicating effectively with all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities: - Project Initiation:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop project plans including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Establish project budget and financial tracking mechanisms.
- Identify and engage key stakeholders.
- Team Leadership:
- Assemble and manage cross-functional project teams.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively.
- Foster collaboration and communication within the team.
- Provide performance feedback and coaching to team members.
- Project Execution:
- Monitor project progress against the plan, identifying potential issues early on.
- Manage risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Facilitate decision-making and resolve conflicts
- Track project metrics and KPIs to ensure performance aligns with goals
- Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Regularly update stakeholders on project status, including key decision-makers and senior leadership
- Proactively address concerns and manage expectations
- Conduct project reviews and presentations to demonstrate progress and achievements
- Project Closure:
- Review project deliverables and ensure quality standards are met
- Conduct post-project analysis to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement
- Document project outcomes and archive relevant information
Qualifications: - Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
- Expertise in project management tools and software
- Understanding of relevant business processes and systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership and team building abilities
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

Compensation Statement: The salary range is $150,000 - $160,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
Benefits Summary: Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings' fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined from time to time as well as a 401(k) retirement plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave.
