Job Description

Jim's Delivery Service is seeking a creative and technically skilled post-secondary student to develop 2D and 3D media assets to support the team. The successful candidate will design graphic models and illustrations to enhance our safety training materials and resources.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed graphics and visual assets to accurately represent vehicles, equipment, work-spaces, and safety scenarios.
• Design interactive visual aids to support driver and transportation safety training.
• Convert technical concepts into easy-to-understand visual formats.
• Collaborate with learning specialists and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy of designs.
• Secondary Role Responsibilities
• Update existing training materials with new design elements, as required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Blender, etc.)s
• Minimum 2 years of experience in visual design or illustration, ideally with exposure to technical or safety-related content.
• Experience with or interest in evolving toward interactive and dimensional (3D) visual design is a strong asset.
• Visual storytelling ability to simplify complex information into clear, engaging visuals
• Ability to interpret technical documents and regulations to create accurate visuals
• An understanding of instructional design principles, with a focus on visual communication and adult learning
• Experience designing visuals for safety or technical training - especially in transportation or industrial settings - is an asset.
