Theatre Write Now is seeking NYC-based directors for 10 upcoming developmental staged readings. These projects are being developed through Theatre Write Now’s second annual playwriting cohort. Join our community and help guide new plays that will be publicly presented for the first time! Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. All positions are volunteer. Each reading will have a 1-week process that includes: Table Work Rehearsals: 7pm - 10pm Monday - Tuesday @ New York City Center Further Rehearsals: 6pm - 10pm Wednesday - Friday @ The Tank Performance Day: Creative team call at 6pm and performances 7:30pm @ Balance Arts Center The first staged reading process will begin on April 21st, and the final staged reading process will begin on June 23rd. ABOUT THEATRE WRITE NOW Theatre Write Now is a collaborative and generative cohort for early-career playwrights produced and facilitated by KOPCORP. Co-produced by Daisy Theatricals, Anna Giacalone, Kelsey Ballard, and Carly Gilmore.
