Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 3 @ Tarleton State University , located in Stephenville, TX. This is an exciting position that will be a key player in elevating Tarleton to a premier dining program. This position will manage a team of Chefs and experienced Cooks as well as frontline employees on campus and will be called upon to deliver high quality culinary & catering results. We are looking for a chef that has experience and can run a professional, high end kitchen. The ideal candidate will be ready to lead and develop talent through motivation, education, skill, and passion. Our goal is to provide an exceptional dining experience for our clients, guests, and team.

What You'll Do

• be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
• ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
• have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
• ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
• have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
