Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance professional with a knack for guiding financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures. The successful candidate will have the ability to maintain control over the organization's finances and ensure that the company's financial reports are accurate and completed on time.

Description

* Manage financial and business performance to achieve company goals.
* Analyse Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and make recommendations for improvements.
* Support the budget planning process and provide financial forecasts.
* Manage monthly and yearly closing operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reports.
* Maintain internal controls to safeguard the company's assets.
* Communicate financial metrics to senior management.
* Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation and enforcing adherence to requirements.
* Oversee the operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

* A strong command of both English and Japanese.
* A deep understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
* A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar field.
* Proficiency in accounting software and experience with financial reporting.
