Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable,

accounts receivable, and general ledger entries

  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data by reconciling accounts and

verifying transactions

  • Reconcile bank statements with company accounts to ensure accuracy and identify

discrepancies

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
  • Generate financial reports and analysis as required by management or regulatory

authorities

  • Provide support during audits by preparing supporting documentation and

responding to auditor inquiries

  • Monitor and track company expenses, ensuring compliance with budgetary

guidelines and expense policies

  • Review and process employee expense reports, verifying receipts and supporting

documentation

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, including & GST returns
  • Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and reporting requirements
  • Conduct financial analysis and variance analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial data and

analysis

  • Assist in special financial projects or initiatives as assigned by management
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests for financial information or analysis in a timely and accurate manner

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Additional certifications

such as CPA or CA (Chartered Accountant) would be advantageous

  • 5-8 experience in accounting or finance roles, with a solid understanding of

financial principles and practices

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Familiarity with financial

reporting standards and regulations

  • Strong attention to detail & accuracy in financial record-keeping and analysis
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize

tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively

communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the achievement of departmental goals and objectives
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information. Compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements
