Job Profile Pilot Leadership Opportunity - If you are ready to take on the next challenge in your Pilot career, consider the Vista America Global Fleet Flight Operations Manager position. In this position, you are responsible for our global aircraft fleet - overseeing management and support to ensure safety, efficiency, and service standards. This role requires relocation to Columbus, Ohio. The FOM oversees effective management and support of fleet crewing and pilot welfare, maintaining safety, efficiency, and service standards, and promoting the Vista America brand. Vista America, a partner of Vista, the world's leading global business aviation company, sets a new standard in business aviation services across the U.S. Duties and Responsibilities Inclusive of but not limited to: People Management Responsibilities Execute performance management functions Align crew with company goals Hold bi-monthly fleet meetings Manage time and attendance functions Conduct quarterly 1-on-1 appraisals and reviews Implement reward and recognition programs Develop talent strategies, including internal changes and external hires Crew Management Responsibilities Ensure pilot schedule coverage and fleet balance Review duty assignments and fatigue reports Safeguard crew welfare Act as the FOMoD according to roster Review LIFUS progress Support onsite crew support programs Support simulator programs, ensuring profiles meet training objectives Aircraft Operation Responsibilities Monitor sensitive flights assigned to the fleet Complete event debriefs and provide recommendations within 48 hours Review AOGs and suggest operational improvements Implement flight operations policies and procedures Ensure logistical procedures and documentation are accurate and complete Identify fleet needs and issue fleet memos with approval Collaborate with MOC on maintenance and MEL management Oversee client experience, including Wi-Fi and cabin status Statutory and Company Compliance Responsibilities Ensure understanding and compliance with efficiency policies and procedures Conduct flight operations safely and in accordance with regulations and policies Recommend standardization policies and procedures to CP System (Tech) Responsibilities Ensure compliance with Centric/Apps like eCrew, EFF, ETL Use Tableau dashboards for data analysis Manage ADP, SuccessFactors, and Confluence effectively Skills & Competencies Analytical skills for operational decision support Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and GV Organizational skills and crew performance management Ability to prepare reports and work in a high-growth environment Cross-functional collaboration skills Prioritize and manage remote teams effectively Additional Requirements Current Check Airman/Captain on Global Aircraft Valid driver’s license with acceptable record First-class medical certificate No recent accidents, incidents, or FAA enforcement actions Willingness to travel worldwide Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Extensive piloting experience, including international operations Knowledge of Jet Select’s GOM, OpSpecs, and FAA regulations Management experience preferred Legal authorization to work in the U.S. Flight hours: 150 in the last 365 days, 30 in the last 90 days The affiliated partners of Vista America are equal employment opportunity employers.
