White Rabbit Japan is working to elevate eCommerce between Japan-based sellers and overseas buyers. We're a profitable, bootstrapped, growth-stage company. We are currently hiring for multiple talented Full-Stack Engineer roles to join us in our ambitious growth plans.

We operate Japan Rabbit and Blackship , proxying buying and package forwarding services loved by tens of thousands of individuals and businesses in 100+ countries.

As a fast-growing service company with high-volume operations, you'll have plenty of opportunity for impact and growth.

• We use Typescript.
• We use Vue.js for our frontend and Node + Hasura + Postgres + GCP on the backend.
• We use Sanity for CMS.

As a Full Stack Engineer at White Rabbit, you will:

• Collaborate with the organization's founder and team members on problem-solving and feature design.
• Support our operations team by rapidly addressing urgent ops issues when required.
• Maintain multiple products, including customer-facing surfaces, backend systems, databases, micro-services, third-party APIs, and hardware devices.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end test. (Jest and Cypress.)
• Document the systems you build and maintain.
• Take responsibility for the features you develop from code committed to code successfully running in production.

Minimum Qualifications

You have 3+ years of senior engineering experience working with:

• High-growth tech startup,
• TypeScript, NodeJs, and ES6,
• UI frameworks such as Vue or React, or similar
• Relational databases and SQL
• GCP, AWS, Azure, or similar cloud computing platforms (we use GCP).
• Remote work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Hasura, GraphQL.
• Knowledge of web application security.
• Experience with static site generators and building serverless applications.
• Experience with code-testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or similar.

Expected Salary: 6-8.5 million yen annually.
