Job Description

The Role:

We are hiring a Graphic Designer on behalf of our client to enhance the visual impact of their Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Qualification (RFQ) responses. This role is crucial in helping them win new infrastructure projects by designing compelling, visually engaging proposals that communicate their client’s expertise and competitive advantages. You will work closely with proposal managers, proposal coordinators, and subject matter experts to create high-quality layouts, infographics, and branded materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead branding for custom proposals, including project brand guidelines, team names, and logos.
  • Design visually compelling RFP/RFQ responses that align with client and company branding.
  • Ensure all proposal materials maintain brand consistency and a cohesive visual identity.
  • Design brochures, case studies, digital presentations, and other business development materials.
  • Develop electronic and print proposal materials, including covers, binders, tabs, dividers, flysheets, USB tags, and packaging.
  • Create custom InDesign and Word templates for proposals.
  • Convert Google Earth data, engineering drawings, hand sketches, and PDFs into technical visuals such as maps, schematics, and schedules.
  • Collaborate with the Proposal Manager on final design elements.
  • Develop illustrations, logos, and other graphics using software or by hand.
  • Design presentations, including custom and editable templates in InDesign and PowerPoint.
  • Oversee document layout, infographics, call-out boxes, and visual enhancements.
  • Implement edits and finalize submission materials for print or digital delivery.
  • Ensure timely completion of high-quality design projects.
  • Provide design best practices and optimization recommendations.
  • Establish and refine company branding and marketing materials.
  • Create marketing collateral, leave-behinds, and brochures for projects and corporate branding.
  • Manage multiple design projects within budget and specifications.
  • Ensure messaging and design consistency across all materials.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on designs.
  • Implement feedback and revisions as needed.
  • Develop visualizations that convey accurate project messaging.
  • Maintain a library of design assets, including PowerPoint templates and reusable graphics.
  • Other duties as required.

  A little bit about you:

  • Post-secondary education in the creative/design field (Graphic Design, Digital Media or a related field)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure as well as, work independently and as a team
  • Uncanny attention to detail, strong organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines
  • Portfolio of work with a wide range of technical and creative projects
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web
  • Experience with both print and digital media

The Perks:

  • Competitive salary: $60,000-$85,000 (based on experience)
