Ink Technician

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Work within the TPS Ink Management system to provide blended ink to customer’s

process.

• Utilizing ADP for clock in/out
• Wearing of all assigned PPE
• Weigh, blend and deliver in a productive and efficient manner press-ready inks to the

customer’s equipment within the plant.

• Responsible for appropriate color matching, ink formulation, and mixing at the

customer’s site according to customer’s production schedule.

• Prepare and maintain accurate records including color matches, ink adjustments,

consignment returns and complaints as directed by the supervisor.

• Assist in maintaining work off press process by regulating use and storage of clean,

organized work area.

• Perform other related responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Decision-Making Responsibilities:

• Quality of product delivered to customer: conformance vs specification
• Selection of raw materials & suitability of finished match in new color matches
• Suitability of press return ink for recycle.
