This HR Business Partner role at a newly opened luxury retail store focuses on managing HR initiatives and practices to support business goals, working closely with the HR teams of both the brand and its parent company. The position involves overseeing various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and training development, while fostering a motivating environment for employees.

General Human Resources
*
Review and update HR standards, policies, and programs to align with business needs and regulations.

Maximize retail performance through data-driven goal setting (KPIs/Incentives).
*
Act as the HR main contact for internal/external audits.
*
Talent Acquisition
*
Conduct interviews for mid-career and new graduate candidates.
*
Support employees post-hire and conduct follow-up interviews.
*
Employee Relations
*
Develop and recommend practices for positive employer-employee relationships.
*
Manage employee communication and feedback, addressing needs related to talent attraction and retention.
*
Resolve HR-related issues within the organization.
*
Organization Development and Performance Management
*
Lead Performance Management Reviews and Individual Compensation Reviews (ICR).
*
Evaluate organizational structure and drive necessary transformations.
*
Monitor the implementation of performance improvement processes.
*
Training and Development
*
Create and implement organizational training strategies.
*
Plan and assess induction training and individualized development plans for new employees.
Profile
*
Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of experience in HR.
*
B2C business experience preferred, retail experience not required.
*
Proficiency in Japanese (business level), with English skills preferred.
*
Strong organizational agility and the ability to build effective relationships.
*
Strategic thinking with the ability to balance long-term and short-term goals.
*
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
*
Problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and creative approach to challenges.

Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to change.
