The Independent Living Ambassador will support Wellness partners in their role serving Independent Living Residents as well as assist with issues or concerns and resolving problems.

This position is Full-Time 2nd shift.

• Interact with residents and families in a patient, professional and responsive manner
• Resolve customer service concerns of Residents
• Provide Residents and family with community resource information as needed
• Trouble shoot issues for wellness providers serving Residents; ensure providers are responding appropriately and providing reporting to multi-disciplinary team
• Assist Residents and families with issues and concerns and and refer back to IL Director or Resource Coordinator
• Assist with scheduling issues regarding schedule
• Must work effectively with medical professionals and paraprofessionals as well as older adults and their families to resolve problems and/or seek solutions
• Works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team for care planning and problem resolution

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: CNA/STNA Certification
• Licensure/Certification: Must have a current Ohio Driver's License and be able to drive own vehicle
• Experience: Supervisory experience; at least one to two years' experience in a senior living, healthcare or community-based services environment required; ability to work with a diverse population of residents, families and partners; capacity to work independently and prioritize and multi-task job responsibilities; critical thinking skills and excellent communication skills
