Job Description:

Our client is seeking a skilled Desktop Procedure/Policy Writer to support a large-scale provider network implementation project. This role focuses on producing clear, detailed documentation for operational processes in claims, eligibility, and enrollment (excluding customer service). The ideal candidate will have healthcare operations experience and strong writing skills, particularly in training or instructional content.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and edit SOPs and DTPs to document end-to-end workflows for claims, eligibility, and enrollment.
• Translate complex technical and operational processes into easy-to-follow step-by-step procedures.
• Ensure traceability of all documentation to system requirements and functionality (Facets, Workflow, JIVA).
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and validate documentation accuracy.
• Maintain document control, versioning, and adherence to internal standards.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience writing policies, SOPs, or desktop procedures for health plan operations.
• Deep understanding of claims, eligibility, and enrollment workflows.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with the FACETS system.
• Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Experience collaborating across teams to gather and confirm technical content.
• Must be able to work standard EST business hours.

Pay Range:

$50-$70/hr (W2)
