A unique opportunity for an International Transportation and Trade Compliance Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of international transportation and trade compliance within the FMCG industry.

Description

* Supervise and execute daily/monthly operations
* Validate KPI, negotiate with suppliers
* Develop, implement, and manage the company's trade compliance program to ensure adherence to international trade laws and regulations within Japan.
* Conduct regular audits and assessments of import and export activities to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
* Project management of a new product category launch.
* Cost analysis Budget vs Actual for all transportation costs
* Freight management with Supplier
* Monitor incoming cargo activities for events
* Manage projects led by headquarters
* Maintain a high level of staff motivation
* Strives to foster an engaging work environment within Logistics Department and with other working partners

Profile

A successful International Transportation and Trade Compliance Manager should have:

* A degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience in international transportation and trade compliance within the FMCG industry.
* Excellent knowledge of international trade laws and regulations.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in English and Japanese languages.
