FIELDBOSS - Elevating Service Excellence in Elevator and HVAC Contracting

We are a Microsoft Partner and ISV with approximately 60 clients and growing.

- Toronto, Ontario

- Full-Time (Hybrid or Fully Remote)

- Reporting to the management team.

JOB OVERVIEW:

FIELDBOSS is an innovative, flexible field service management solution, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and designed for elevator, HVAC, and specialty contractors. As a Microsoft partner and Independent Software Vendor (ISV), our users are adept at embracing new technology and utilizing the tools provided to them with minimal assistance. We operate entirely within the Microsoft cloud environment, and our users are either fully remote or hybrid, ensuring flexibility and efficiency in their work.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

IT Infrastructure Management:

• Oversee the maintenance and security of the company's IT systems
• Ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of IT resources
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Implement and manage cloud services, leveraging the latest Microsoft cloud solutions

Compliance and Security:

• Modernize existing and develop new IT security policies to comply with industry standards and regulations
• Develop internal processes to enforce and comply with IT security policies
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments
• Implement data protection measures and ensure compliance with data privacy laws

Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide solutions
• Offer technical support and training to staff as needed
• Provide guidance to the product and engineering teams on Microsoft technologies and security matters

Vendor Management:

• Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers
• Evaluate and select new technologies and services

Qualifications

Experience:

• Extensive experience with Microsoft cloud platforms, including Azure, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Entra
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing IT security policies and procedures
• Preferred: Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics CE and / or Microsoft Dynamics BC
• Preferred: Experience working in the Microsoft Partner channel

Skills:

• Strong understanding of Microsoft applications and services, such as SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
• Proven ability to effectively resolve problems
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both users and stakeholders
• Preferred: exposure to Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio

Educational:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
