POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking three highly skilled professionals to join our Partner Documentation team. The ideal candidates will have experience in technical writing , Machine Translation Post-Editing , and localization with a focus on user experience (UX) and KYC . Partner documentation is addressed to podcasters and artists who are uploading their podcasts to our client's app. They need to buy a license, and a user guide is attached to the package.

Job Title: English into Japanese Partner Documentation Localization Expert

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Remote

Content Type: Marketing, Product, Support

Expected Capacity: 1000 to 2000 words per day 

Expected availability: 6 hours per day, 5 days per week (30 hours per week) 

Employment Type: Freelance

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate and localize partner documentation ensuring cultural relevance and contextual accuracy.
  • Adapt content to suit the linguistic and cultural nuances of the target audience while maintaining the original message and tone.
  • Review and edit translated content for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
  • Ensure adherence to industry-specific terminology and style guidelines.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, news, and developments in UX and KYC.
  • Provide insights and expertise on UX and KYC-related topics to inform content creation and strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Technical Writing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in translation and localization, focusing on technical writing and MTPE.
  • Background in UX and KYC processes .
  • Proficiency in English and Japanese , with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both. 
  • Familiarity with translation software and tools. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Effective organizational and time-management skills.

$27 - $32 an hour
