Junior Program Protection Security Analyst with Security Clearance 3 days ago – Be among the first 25 applicants. TSA is currently seeking a Program Protection Security Analyst at the Junior level to support our government customer at NAS Patuxent River, MD. The candidate must be proficient and capable of executing duties pertaining to personnel security, physical security, and information security. This role involves implementing security processes necessary to protect classified information with strict adherence to NISPOM, DoDM 5200.01 Vol. 1‑3, DODI 5200.02, DoDI 5200.48, and other applicable Executive Order and DoD regulations. The position requires routine interface with all levels of management and government customers. Responsibilities Perform routine clerical and administrative functions in support of the E2/C2 ITT. Schedule and coordinate conference rooms for unclassified and classified meetings. Maintain working knowledge of Defense Information System for Security (DISS). Check clearances, verify visits, and send visits as needed. Issue visitor badges to all visitors. Serve as backup to the Security Coordinator for issuing building access badges. Open/close labs and secure conference rooms as a support function with the Security Coordinator and other ITT members. Understand how to receive and sign for classified packages. Qualifications U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. Strong initiative. Strong organizational skills. Ability to operate with minimal supervision. Problem‑solving/process improvement skills. Strong administrative skillset and working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. TSA is committed to pay transparency. The salary range for this position is $45,000–$55,000. Compensation will be determined based on factors permitted by law.
