Main function/responsibility/competencies

Key Account Manager is responsible for all Sika activities referring to his/her designated customer and this at a global level.

Develop new business opportunities (Short / Mid term) by making strategy for target customers to achieve / exceed the target.

  • Manage P&L for profitable sales development of target OEM/OES
  • Analyze customers’ strategy and market potential including competitors’ activities
  • Define, control and track the OEM/OES account plan
  • Drive all requests and be the first point of contact of all functions within the customer
  • Provide the product technical presentation and guide to the customers
  • Drive the relathionship management with OEM/OES customers to develop higher levels of contacts from all related functions
  • Communicate proactively with other KAMs from other regions and support their sales projects by getting / following approval from JOEM/JOESs’ HQ
  • Expand new business contracts at the exisiting and new customers 
  • Pricing management
  • Report and communicate to Sika Global and regional teams
  • Overseas trips to Sika group companies for business meetings and trainings.

  • 顧客の戦略や市場の可能性、競合他社の活動を分析
  • OEM/OESのアカウントプランを策定し、管理・追跡
  • 顧客内のすべての機能からの要求を処理し、最初の連絡窓口
  • OEM/OES顧客との関係を深め、すべての関連機能とのコンタクトを促進
  • 他の地域のKAMと積極的にコミュニケーションを取り、営業プロジェクトを相互にサポート
  • 既存および新規顧客で新しいビジネス契約を拡大します。 ・価格設定を管理
  • Sikaグローバルおよび地域チームとの協業
  • Sikaグループ企業への海外出張を通じてビジネスミーティングやトレーニングを実施
資格

  • 4-year College degree 
  • At least 5 years of Key Account management experience in sales or engineering sales at the manufacturers/makers (experience in chemical products preferred) or working experiences at Automotive & Tier companies (Team management experiences are plus)
  • Technical & Professional knowledge, preferred to have BIW or Interior or NVH related business experiences and business experiences with JOEM/OES.
  • Business level in Japanese and English.
  • Have strong sense of responsibility to meet the due date and end result. Understand what he/she is requested to do and strive to accomplish the goals
  • Able to think, explain and analyze logically Open-minded, self-motivated, self-driven
  • Team spirit, good communicative skills to customers and colleagues
  • Proactively tackle complex issues and environment and analyze and find solutions by cooperating with his/her managers as well as other departments
  • Hands on working style, good presentation, organisational skills and social competence

  • 大学4年制卒業(経済学、機械工学、化学工学の修士号保持者は尚可)
  • メーカーにおける販売またはエンジニアリングセールスにおける少なくとも5年の法人営業経験(化学製品の経験が望ましい)または自動車・ティア企業での勤務経験(チーム管理経験は尚可)
  • 技術的・専門的な知識を有し、BIW、インテリア、NVH関連のビジネス経験やJOEM/OESとのビジネス経験があることが望ましい
  • 業務遂行できる日本語力と英語力
  • 納期や最終成果物を達成するための強い責任感を持つこと。求められる業務や目標を理解し、達成するために努力すること
  • 論理的に思考し、説明し、分析できること。オープンマインドで、自己動機付けができ、自己推進力があること
  • チームスピリットを持ち、顧客や同僚との良好なコミュニケーション能力を持つこと
  • 複雑な問題や環境に積極的に取り組み、上司や他の部門と協力して解決策を見つける能力を持つこと
  • 実務的な働き方ができ、良いプレゼンテーション、組織力、および社会的な能力を持つこと
