Lakehead Baptist Church, a vibrant, Christ- centered, congregation-led church that meets in Thunder Bay Ontario is currently looking for a Lead Pastor. Our longstanding Pastor will be retiring as of June 1, 2025, and ideally, we would like the vacancy filled by that date. We are looking for a relational pastor who loves God and cares for followers of Christ deeply.
Lakehead Baptist Church is part of the Baptist General Conference, a movement of 106 Canadian Churches meeting across Canada. The mission of the Baptist General Conference is to build a network of churches that make disciples who live and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in their communities, Canada and the Nations.

Lakehead Baptist Church is situated near the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre as well as the Lakehead University Campus. We have an average Sunday attendance of 120 from all ages.

We invite people to engage in different ministries within the church and in the community. Through bible studies, youth group activities and home small groups, we encourage congregants in discipleship and growth in their faith.
