Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking a Learning Experience Designer for a leading global technology client in Seattle, WA.

Title: Learning Experience Designer (Contract Position)

Pay Rate: $50.00 - 60.00/hour (based on experience)

6 month Contract role

Location: Onsite M-F Seattle, WA

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to build and manage a foundational learning program that prepares individuals for technical careers in the global data center industry. In this role, you will collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop learning programs that will be available to educators and learners globally. You will drive the growth of this program across multiple educational landscapes while continuously improving it to align with the dynamic needs of the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement training programs as part of a blended learning strategy
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and educational institutions to develop training programs with a global perspective
  • Analyze business needs, identify learning gaps, and create strategic learning solutions
  • Work closely with technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to create engaging and effective training content
  • Manage multiple curriculum development projects simultaneously
  • Continuously assess and improve learning content based on feedback and performance data
  • Develop learner evaluation tools to measure knowledge and skill transfer
  • Oversee program management and stakeholder alignment for technical training initiatives

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, organizational development, or a related field OR 3+ years of relevant instructional design experience
  • 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and executing training strategies across multiple modalities
  • Experience managing learning and development projects in an academic or corporate environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working as a consultant in a corporate or startup environment
  • Experience collaborating with remote teams and international audiences
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with a passion for high-quality learning experiences
  • Ability to interpret, analyze, and communicate performance metrics to various stakeholders
  • Experience designing training for the high-tech industry
  • Technical aptitude to quickly learn new technologies and develop training solutions

This is an onsite position requiring in-person attendance five days per week.
