THE POSITION

  • You are comfortable leading, implementing and managing total rewards programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and employee recognition programs that help to attract and retain top talent
  • Skilled in collaboration, you will partner with Payroll, Senior leadership, Finance and other departments as required to help manage incentive related plans, programs and variable compensation components that support strategic growth business objectives
  • You have experience managing base pay structures for hourly and salaried employees, conducting annual reviews and recommending adjustments
  • You have previously led the annual compensation review process, including merit increases, promotions, and job evaluations, job leveling and EAP management
  • You have previous experience with pay equity and pay transparency legislative requirements
  • You stay informed about market trends in compensation, benefits and pension plans, providing recommendations that balance operational cost effectiveness while considering employee engagement
  • You enjoy data analytics and reporting, using your skills to measure the effectiveness of total rewards programs that drive continuous improvement
  • You have advanced excel and accurate data management skills, with proficiency in manipulating large datasets for reconciliation, auditing and report preparation
  • You have previously managed the input, and output management of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Capital Management Systems (HCMS)
  • You have experience leading or influencing the performance and career development of other employees
  • You enjoy working in a busy, performance based, corporate, business environment, able to multi-task to meet the needs of the organization

THE QUALIFICATIONS

You have three (3) to five (5) years of experience in total rewards, compensation, and benefits administration, with at least two (2) years of HR management experience at a Senior Analyst/Consultant level. You are a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or working towards the completion of this designation. You have a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. You have an advanced skill set in Excel and are proficient in a variety of business technologies (Microsoft Office, TEAMs, Payfactors), with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality. You are known for your attention to detail, high do/say ratio and organizational and prioritization skills. Experience with ADP’s Workforce Now and/or Workday systems is required for this position.

*Bilingualism (ENG/FRE) would be an asset in this position.

*This position is based in our Canadian, Corporate Head Office, Niagara-on-the-Lake. This role is available for a HYBRID working arrangement, available to be performed both in the office (2-3 days a week) and home.
