The Japan office operates with a mission to deliver market-driven solutions that enhance grid reliability, efficiency, and flexibility, all while adhering to the highest regulatory standards.■ Role and ResponsibilitiesAs the Market Strategy and Regulatory Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's presence in Japan’s energy markets. You will drive strategic initiatives to navigate market complexities and regulatory landscapes, ensuring the company's growth in key areas such as the Balancing Market, Wholesale Market, and capacity services. In this role, you will manage the company’s participation in various markets, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and build strategic relationships with government bodies and industry stakeholders. You will also collaborate with internal teams to deliver on market strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.■ Main tasks include・Analyze market trends and identify strategic opportunities for growth within Japan’s energy markets.・Lead the development of market strategies to ensure competitiveness and compliance.・Oversee regulatory compliance, ensuring all activities adhere to evolving energy regulations.・Manage the company’s participation in market registrations, including auctions and bidding processes.・Drive project management for customer engagements, coordinating submissions, testing, and troubleshooting.・Build and maintain relationships with key regulatory bodies, government agencies, and industry groups.・Represent the company at industry forums, enhancing visibility and business development efforts.

求められる経験
■ Skills & Experience Required:
・Proven experience in the Japanese electricity market or a related field.
・Strong knowledge of Japan’s energy regulations and market mechanisms.
・Expertise in demand response and energy management technologies.
・Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
・Strong communication skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
・Ability to lead projects independently and work collaboratively with teams.
・Proficiency in Excel, with an advantage for skills in Python.
