Are you passionate about creativity, storytelling, and making a difference? Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario is seeking a Summer Student to join our Marketing & Communications team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to develop your skills while supporting impactful initiatives that bring Hope Close to Home .

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the creation of marketing materials, including web graphics, social media posts, newspaper ads, and print media
• Supporting the implementation of the 2025 Marketing & Communications Plan
• Building a comprehensive database of media contacts across southwestern Ontario
• Helping to keep the PSSO website relevant and up-to-date
• Contributing to the production of videos for digital platforms
• Compiling a "story bank" featuring inspiring individuals impacted by Parkinson’s for future campaigns
• Assisting with the development of content for newsletters and other communications

This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while making a positive impact in our community. This is an 8 week, 35 hour/week position at $18/hr to start in June, 2025. Join us in sharing stories, spreading awareness, and supporting those affected by Parkinson's.
