Responsibilities

Media Billing :

• Working knowledge in DDS Spot, Print, Digital, National Broadcast mediums in relation to client billing/reporting functionality.
• Prepare monthly billings to clients as required by deadlines set by the finance department.
• Prepare client reconciliations and monthly statements.
• Set up bi-weekly status meetings with buying and account teams to ensure billing is in line with client contracts/agreements, and that media buys have been entered for billing.
• Identify issues and resolve discrepancies by collaborating with the media buying services department to address discrepancies in campaign planning and buying.
• Work with the AR collections team to adjust and reissue invoices to expedite client payments.
• Follow guidelines and processes to ensure accurate and timely client invoicing each month.

Production Billing :

• Process all fees, agency fees, and retainers through the production system.
• Process all production invoices for TV, radio, etc., through the production system.
• Generate the Monthly WIP Report, including income recognitions and special amount notes.
• Process true-up commissions for HVP media buys (VTZ, PRZ, MLZ, DGZ, UHZ) through the production system.
• Prepare the unbilled report with comments for the financial analyst at the end of each month.

Team Support:

• Build relationships across multiple teams, including Media, Finance, and Operations.
• Support ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a billing role at an agency is a must
• Knowledge of MediaOcean DDS system is a must
• Diploma in Accounting or Finance is desirable
• Proficiency in Excel required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact productively with others across departments
• Ability to plan and manage your own work to meet deadlines
