Network Integration / Configuration Engineer

Responsibilities:

Verify data integrity for ALU 7750, 7705, and 7250 IXR nodes in preparation for integration and software upgrades.
Identify and report discrepancies through the appropriate management chain to customers.
Execute tasks in accordance with approved Method of Procedure (MOP) documents.
Leverage experience and discretion to validate MOPs and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for ALU 7750, 7705, and IXR hardware integration.
Update and revise MOPs, SOPs, and data templates as needed to support the integration and deployment of ALU 7750, 7705, and IXR equipment.
Develop MOPs to safely upgrade software on customer equipment, resolve scripting issues, and assist internal teams with maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues affecting network equipment, using Command Line Interface (CLI) and Graphical User Interface (GUI) tools.
Apply ALU QoS standards to network performance analysis.
Develop and configure Nokia router configuration files.
Work scheduled maintenance windows from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM on a recurring basis, depending on business needs and integrator availability.

Additional Responsibilities:

Support, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to customer network elements, including 7750, 7705, 7210, and IXR routers.
Perform software upgrades, implementation, and integration maintenance support for customers.
Provide IPv6 telecommunications traffic migration services.
Follow established procedures and utilize proprietary software tools to meet deliverables.
Escalate quality issues to enhance the products and services delivered to customers.
Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including MOPs, for use by field technicians.
Apply strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Hands-on experience with Nokia routers.
Nokia NRS I or NRS II certification (NRS II preferred).
Knowledge and experience with IP, MPLS, Segment Routing, ISIS, and OSPF (preferred).
