Online Survey Developer (Bilingual – English/French)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented candidate to support the programming, deployment, and maintenance of a secure, bilingual online survey platform. The successful candidate will work closely with our Project Authority to develop a dynamic and user-friendly survey tool aligned with the specifications outlined in the Tracks questionnaires.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and program a bilingual (French and English) online survey based on the Tracks questionnaires, incorporating validation rules and skip patterns as provided.
- Ensure the survey is accessible and fully functional across various devices, including tablets, laptops/desktops, and potentially mobile phones.
- Implement a unique ID generation system for each questionnaire, with support for pre-generated IDs to be printed on specimen labels. Surveys must support site-specific links to allow location tracking.
- Enable seamless language switching between English and French (and potentially Spanish).
- Collaborate with the Project Authority through an iterative review process to refine and finalize the survey platform for both web and tablet use.
- Conduct weekly quality assurance testing during both the development and data collection phases.
- Provide weekly monitoring reports during the data collection period (6 to 18 months), including metrics such as:
- Total number of questionnaires completed
- Number of fully completed surveys
- Number of biological samples provided by site
- Deliver interim datasets for validation purposes, including key sociodemographic indicators (e.g., age group, ethnicity, self-reported HIV status by site).
- Submit a complete final dataset upon conclusion of data collection. All data must be securely stored on a secure server.
- Ensure the Project Authority and designated team members have full access to extract data or receive interim datasets as needed.
- Transfer all password-protected datasets using LiquidFiles (secure FTP), with passwords provided via email.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in online survey programming and deployment
- Strong knowledge of data security protocols and secure data transfer methods
- Bilingual in English and French (Spanish an asset)
- Clearance: Reliability
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
- Experience working on public health or research-related projects is preferred
