Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Onshape 3D Modeling Technician to join our team. If you are passionate about creating precise, high-quality 3D models and enjoy working in a fast-paced, creative environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop 3D models using Onshape software based on project requirements.
• Special knowledge for ONSHAPE configurations and constraints are required,
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and project managers.
• Convert concepts, sketches, and technical drawings into fully detailed 450 LOD 3D models.
• Ensure models meet quality standards, technical specifications, and project deadlines.
• Work side by side with the library development team and providing 3d models.
• Create rules and controlling methods for the data management part of ONSHAPE
• Optimize designs for manufacturability, including creating assemblies, simulations, and BOMs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design challenges effectively.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Onshape 3D modeling software.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and CAD modeling.
• Strong understanding of BOMs.
• Experience in creating detailed assemblies, parts, and technical drawings.
• Ability to interpret and execute project briefs, sketches, and technical requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Onshape software knowledge and experience is a must, all resumes without onshape will not be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in [specific industry, e.g., consumer products, automotive].
• Knowledge of additional CAD tools or software is a plus.
• Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
• Any certification is a plus
