Job Description

Join OtO and Help Us Transform the Future of Outdoor Living!

At OtO, we're passionate about revolutionizing outdoor experiences through smart, sustainable technology. As a fast-growing startup, we're on a mission to make outdoor living easier, more enjoyable, and eco-friendly. If you're excited about working on innovative solutions in a dynamic environment, we'd love to have you on board!

Your Impact

As an Operations Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient eCommerce operations. This role combines hands-on problem-solving with data-driven analysis to support seamless fulfillment, shipping, and inventory management. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and third-party logistics (3PL) partners to improve workflows, enhance efficiency, and drive operational excellence. This is a hybrid role, requiring someone to come into our office twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support eCommerce operations by analyzing order and inventory data to identify trends and optimize fulfillment and shipping performance.
  • Manage 3PL relationships, ensuring service levels (SLAs) are met and continuously improving operational efficiency.
  • Remotely oversee inventory controls across warehouses and fulfillment centers, ensuring stock accuracy and minimizing variances within our inventory management system (IMS).
  • Maintain detailed reports and dashboards tracking key metrics such as order fulfillment, shipping performance, and inventory health.
  • Troubleshoot order and shipping issues, collaborating with 3PL teams, carriers, and Customer Success to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Optimize and refine operational processes, identifying opportunities to improve workflows, automate tasks, and enhance the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to improve post-purchase operations, including returns and exchanges.
  • Develop an understanding of AI and automation tools, exploring ways to drive innovation and efficiency in eCommerce operations.

Who You Are

  • 1-2 years of experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, or a related field (internships or part-time experience welcome!).
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to work with data and identify trends to drive operational improvements.
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets, dashboards, and inventory management systems (IMS)—experience with Cin7, Shopify, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, growth-oriented mindset, eager to take on new challenges and grow into a larger role.
