Our Edmonton-based client is looking for a Change Manager to support the successful implementation of ERP and payroll-related changes across the organization. This onsite role is a contract position until the end of the year. The ideal candidate will drive stakeholder engagement, develop communication strategies, and create training materials to ensure a smooth transition. This role requires someone who can break down complex changes into digestible content and foster buy-in across multiple teams.
Responsibilities
• Develop a roadmap outlining key milestones and communication strategies.
• Align with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption.
• Provide guidance on the organization’s engagement with Microsoft regarding security and system changes.
• Ensure alignment with security policies and compliance throughout the transition.
• Create an engagement plan that fosters understanding and buy-in across all levels.
• Develop clear messaging around changes in Business Central (Finance), UKG Pro, and UKG WFM (not technical but informational).
• Focus heavily on Payroll-related changes, ensuring employees understand new processes.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure messaging resonates and reduces resistance to change.
• Deliver a consistent content feed to gradually introduce and reinforce changes.
• Work with the broadcast department to create engaging video training materials.
• Develop refresher courses and training materials tailored to different employee groups.
• Guide employees through the transition to new payroll and expense processes.
• Provide workshops, Q&A sessions, and training sessions to reinforce understanding.
• Offer hands-on support to ensure employees feel confident using the new system.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in Change Management, Organizational Change, or related roles.
• Strong experience in stakeholder engagement, training development, and communication strategies.
• Familiarity with ERP implementations and payroll systems (Ultipro/UKG preferred).
• Ability to translate technical changes into user-friendly, engaging content.
• Experience working with Microsoft applications and understanding security considerations.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to execute under tight deadlines.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with Business Central (Finance), UKG Pro, and UKG WFM.
• Background in HR, Finance, or Payroll-related projects.
• Change Management certifications (e.g., PROSCI, ACMP) are a plus.
