UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UM BWMC ), a member of the  University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) , is seeking a  Pediatric Hospitalist to join our dynamic team in  Glen Burnie , MD.

Job Description

• Largest Pediatric Hospitalist group in UMMS consisting of 19 providers
• 12 hour shifts (7a-7p/7p-7a)
  • Always 2 pediatricians on at all times
• No call schedule
• EPIC as EMR

Responsibilities include servicing

• Pediatric emergency room
• Level 2A special care nursery
• Well baby nursery
• 10 bed pediatric unit
• Attend deliveries

Qualifications

• Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required.
• Possesses and maintains current Board Certification within practicing specialty required.
• Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
• Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
• Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
• Demonstrates appropriate

  qualifications

  and experience to perform the duties required of this position.

Compensation:

• Pay Range: Pediatric Hospitalist Starting base at $95/hour, increases based on years of experience
• Additional compensation options available for discussion include a $20,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a productivity bonus.
