As part of our development, BA France is looking for a Project Manager M/F . Attached to the Head of the agency and operations in Montreal, you will take charge of managing tooling projects, from ordering to delivery, while providing technical support in the warranty phase for our customers in the aeronautics sector.

Independently or with the support of our teams of designers or business managers according to the project, your challenge will be:

• Manage projects (up to €1 million), while controlling the cost/quality/time-frame aspects
• Follow the process involving costing, production milestones, specific financial monitoring
• Proactively communicate with the client
• Ensure contract management with the support of the Costing division and/or the Profit Centre Manager for the contract or order until delivery
• Supporting financial and administrative management (monthly reporting)
• Interact with the various internal departments (purchasing, quality, production, BE...)
• Be the client interface for the technical part (and field presence if necessary)
• Guarantee the conformity of the product specified by the customer

Occasional trips to the European Union and the United States are expected.

YOUR PROFILE :

Bac+2/3 with a minimum of 2 years' experience.

Your technical skills:

• You have mechanical know-how (choice of materials, treatments, functional rating, dimensioning) applied on complex tooling projects?
• You know the processes of aerostructure assembly, their constraints, costs and processes of conventional tools manufacturing?
• You have a good level of technical English?
• You have experience in the local aviation community in Montreal (this could be a plus)
• You are a member of the OIQ, which is an advantage

Your computer skills:

• Calculation skills
• Proficiency working with CATIA V5 and EXCEL software is essential

Your personality:

• You are rigorous and have a creative mind?
• You have a strong will to succeed, like to make progress and work in a team
