Project Manager with Institutional experience needed in Ottawa, up to $120K+

In business for many years, this ICI GC specializes primarily in Institutional work, as well as with municipalities in both Ottawa and Gatineau. Working in a medium-sized team, you work with other professionals on projects that range from fit ups, renovations and restoration work. Projects are up to $10M generally but can be larger. Typically, you will work from the office with 1 day a week, working from home if you choose.
Your new role
As Project Manager, your job will be to focus on and run multiple projects simultaneously, from initiation to completion, specifically focusing on institutional buildings, schools, fit-up and renovation projects. This will require strong leadership and organizational skills on your part. Other projects could be with the City and other government entities in Ottawa. There are some new build projects that are planned. Projects range from 500K to $10M or higher.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this vital role, your post-secondary education will include Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture-related fields. You should have at least 3–5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably with a focus on institutional or school projects.
Fluency in French and English is a definite asset. You must also be able to qualify for a Federal Government security clearance - 5 to 10 years residency in Canada as a citizen or Permanent Resident.
